Aerial Survey of a Solar Power Plant

A large-scale artistic and engineering aerial survey project of a combined-type industrial solar power plant (SPP). We created high-precision orthomosaics of the territory and prepared a series of promotional materials that visually demonstrate the scale of green energy generation and the high technological standard of the facility.

Industrial solar power plants spanning dozens of hectares require continuous visual monitoring to maintain maximum generation efficiency. The primary engineering task of this project was the scheduled mapping of solar trackers to evaluate shading angles, check row integrity, and monitor the surrounding infrastructure. In addition to the technical audit, we were tasked with creating promotional media content. The client required striking footage of the solar panels and wind turbines for reporting to international investors and presenting the project at major energy forums.

Orthomosaic for Solar Power Plant Maintenance
Alongside the artistic footage, we conducted detailed mapping of the plant's territory. An accurate orthomosaic was built based on the high-resolution images obtained. This allows the client's technical services to remotely inspect the condition of the solar tables, assess dust or sand accumulation on the glass surfaces, and promptly identify mechanical damage after severe weather (such as gale-force winds or hail).

UAV surveying provides a completely safe and rapid audit of the facility without needing to halt power generation or involve high-altitude inspectors.
